Manchester City's star midfielder David Silva has said that he is not interested in seeking a move away from the club. He has been long linked with a move to Real Madrid, but that will not happen according to the midfielder, who is more than happy to stay at the Etihad stadium.
This news will come as a major boost for Manchester City, who managed to tie up Silva on a long-term deal only last summer. Despite this new five-year contract, there has always been talk about the midfielder joining Real Madrid.

David Silva is a professional footballer who currently plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for the Spanish national team as well as Premier League giants Manchester City.
His passing, vision and his ability on the ball playing either as a midfielder or sometimes as a second striker has earned the Spaniard many plaudits and has been described by many pundits as the best playmaker in the Premier League by far and was considered as the main reason Manchester City won the league title in 2012.

The skipper of Manchester City, Vincent Kompany, has missed quite a few matches in the ongoing season because of injuries and according to the City manager Roberto Mancini; Kompany’s absence has really proved to be costly for his team.
Kompany made his comeback in the recently played match against Newcastle United after remaining out of action for a couple of months because of a calf injury. He made a mark in his comeback match by finding the net in the 56th minute. City won the match by 4-0.

The Manchester City midfielder David Silva has once again emerged as a major transfer target for Real Madrid in the summer, as they look to close the gap on the leaders Barcelona.
Silva came extremely close to joining Real Madrid in the last summer transfer window only for the player to sign a new contract with the Premier league champions. Silver signed a new five year contract with Manchester City in the summer that would make him one of the best paid players at the club. Despite this, the interest from the Spanish club has not waned yet especially after a poor season in the league.

The midfielder of Manchester City, David Silva, has denied the reports that his new contract with City has a clause according to which if he wants to leave City for joining any Spanish club before the completion of his contract, he can do that. Silva’s contract with City has been extended for the next four years a few weeks back.

Manchester city midfielder Gareth Barry has said that he is extremely delighted to play alongside a player like David Silva. The Spanish midfielder arrived from Valencia in the £ 26 million deal a few seasons ago.
He was initially expected to struggle in the Premier league due to the physical nature of the league in general, but he has been one of the best players in the last few seasons for both Manchester city and indeed amongst the Premier league players. He is said to be rewarded for his excellent performances with a new contract.
